FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How will i get paid?

When the items are collected from your home, It is physical cash - banknotes. Sometimes items are picked up by Royal Mail and then payment is made by bank transfer within one-two hours of delivery and checking.

Meanwhile....other companies offer payment within 24-48 hours,

Do you honour your prices or lower them on inspection?

If the item/s function as intended and you have mentioned any defects, you will be paid the exact sum you were quoted.

How do you work out the prices?

In most cases, prices are based on recent auction figures, but each quote is worked out individually and can be based on numerous factors like; age, condition, location, desirability, security markings, risk.

How does the FREEPOST option work?

The FREEPOST option is used when the tools that you are selling are too small, low in value or too far away to warrant van collection.

You just need to package your items safely in a strong cardboard box, let us know a collection address and we'll arrange for your postie to collect the parcel from your house.

They will bring the label, can collect from a safe place if you are out, the package is then brought here on 24hr delivery for a quick check and you would be paid by BACS within a couple of hours of arrival.

There are currently no options for bringing tools to us, although it is not out of the question in the future.

As far as meeting in a lay-by goes - It's a 'no' to that too!

All tools bought are tested for functionality and safety, they may be repaired, cleaned and refurbished as required.

They are then sold back to the trade or to home workshops and the like.
